Marketing Manager

Link is a Fintech B2B company providing outsourced administration (SaaS) of employer sponsored savings, equity and health plans. Established in 2015 we are working hard to disrupt how small to medium-sized businesses in Canada provide these benefits to their employees.

We are seeking an energetic, innovative, and creative Marketing Manager with a passion for sales and marketing and appetite for disruptive technology. You are a skilled and motivated individual confident leading our marketing efforts through management of in-house and external resources. You will be responsible for creating continuous and sustainable growth in our sales channel and ultimate impact on the bottom-line. This is an exciting challenge in a Start-up environment, and whether you have experience with employer sponsored financial wellness benefit plans or not, we are excited to hear from you!


Who we are looking for:


  • The development of our overall corporate Marketing plan, focusing on sales and growth
  • The development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Set growth targets, metrics and other milestones for marketing
  • Working within agreed budget to maximize sales and marketing efforts
  • Work with in-house team and outside contractors to develop marketing materials and campaigns
  • Coordination, organization, and maintaining of all marketing activities, events, communications, materials, budgets, and marketing/sales databases
  • This position will work closely with the executive team to define marketing strategies and tactics
  • Responsibilities: Marketing Plan, Marketing Collateral, Marketing Analysis, Corporate Branding, Campaign Development


Required Skills


  • A seasoned marketer coupled with a Marketing degree/diploma
  • A self starter (and self manager), strong project management skills, goal and results orientated
  • Technical skills as it relates to marketing and data analysis, HubSpot and similar CRM tools
  • Proven history of Marketing and/or Sales experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, familiarity with group plans, pension benefits, SaaS (an asset, but not a requirement).

Working with our Calgary based team the role of Marketing Manager is varied, and we are flexible on who and how this opportunity is filled: contract, consulting, etc.


Marketing Skill Set


Create and manage Marketing Tools
  • Sales and Marketing Materials (creation and maintenance); create and maintain corporate Marketing Fundamentals Guidelines (Market, ICP, Buyers’ Journey, Messaging, Brand, etc.)
  • Create and maintain corporate Marketing Plan - Set marketing growth targets, metrics and milestones
  • Manage writers, 3rd party or internal. Content Writing and publishing (blog, news articles, press releases)
  • Standardize all marketing material
Media management
  • Social Media, Industry, Traditional new outlets
Design and manage Campaigns
  • Conceive, manage, analysis, iteration, data analysis, ROI
Event Management
  • Conferences, speaking engagements, Webinars (Run/coordinate/promote webinars)
Manage the marketing tech stack (or keen to learn)
  • HubSpot or other marketing automation
  • Experience designing and managing HubSpot Marketing Hub Professional including Ads, bots, dashboards, email, blogs, SEO, social media, CTAs, landing pages, A/B testing, CRM integration, website analytics and reporting
